An entrepreneur at the age of 24, Friedrich Taubert founded the textile glove company Taubert and Co., in Liebenstein, Egerland, in order to produce gloves made from Simplex fabrics. This foundation was the origin of Taubert Textil GmbH, the enterprise of today.
In 1987 the warp knitting factory and beaming section moved into new production premises Waldmünchen.
The enterprise stands for innovation and highest quality. Special emphasis is being put on a tight cooperation with customers to develop specific articles for the corsetry and embroidery industries. Directly and indirectly all important and famous brands of lingerie are supplied to worldwide. Exports amount to 80 %. For the production of our fabrics we use only brand yarns of European origin.
